Dayawati Modi Academy celebrates World Book Day on 23rd April 2026, honouring the magic of books and the transformative power of reading. Recognised by UNESCO, World Book Day is a global celebration of literature, authors, and the stories that shape our world.
On this occasion, DMA will host a vibrant Book Fair showcasing curated titles across genres for all age groups. Students will participate in Read-Aloud sessions, Book Character Dress-Up activities, author studies, and creative writing prompts inspired by their favourite books. The school library will feature special themed displays and book-gifting ceremonies to encourage students to share the love of reading.
At DMA, we nurture a reading culture that extends far beyond the classroom — because we believe that a child who reads becomes an adult who thinks critically, imagines boldly, and leads with wisdom. World Book Day is our annual reminder that every great story begins with a single page turned.
