Teachers’ Day Celebration at Dayawati Modi Academy
Every year, Dayawati Modi Academy celebrates Teachers’ Day with great love, joy, and respect for the teaching community. This special day gives us a chance to thank our teachers for their hard work, guidance, and the role they play in shaping our lives.
Why We Celebrate Teachers’ Day
Teachers’ Day in India is celebrated on 5th September to honor the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the second President of India, a great philosopher, and an inspiring teacher.
When his students wanted to celebrate his birthday, Dr. Radhakrishnan said:
“It would be my proud privilege if 5th September is celebrated as Teachers’ Day instead of my birthday.”
Since then, this day has been dedicated to all teachers for their contribution to education and society.
Teachers’ Day at Dayawati Modi Academy
At Dayawati Modi Academy, we celebrate Teachers’ Day on 4th September every year so that the entire school can come together and pay tribute to our teachers.
Students prepare:
-
Cultural performances like songs, dances, and skits
-
Poems and speeches expressing gratitude
-
Fun games and activities to make the day special
-
Small gifts and tokens of love for teachers
The celebration is full of excitement, smiles, and heartfelt moments that bring teachers and students even closer.
Importance of Teachers in Our Lives
Teachers are like guiding lights. They not only teach us lessons from books but also help us learn values like honesty, kindness, and hard work. They motivate us to dream big and guide us on how to achieve those dreams.
At DMA, we believe teachers are the real architects of the future, shaping young minds into responsible citizens.
A Day to Say ‘Thank You’
Teachers’ Day is our way of saying a big thank you to our teachers for everything they do. It reminds us to always respect them and value their dedication, patience, and love.
At Dayawati Modi Academy, this celebration is not just an event but a heartfelt tribute to the mentors who make a difference in every student’s life.
