At Dayawati Modi Academy, the months of June and July 2025 were filled with achievements, cultural celebrations, academic excellence, and inspiring learning opportunities. From the sports field to the debating stage, from yoga mats to innovation labs, our students and educators showcased dedication, talent, and the DMA spirit of all-round excellence.
Principal’s Message – Heart to Heart
Principal Dr. Ritu Dewan shared heartfelt words of encouragement, urging students to embrace consistency in daily actions, seize opportunities, and harness their unique potential. Drawing an analogy to flowing rivers, she emphasised that small, steady efforts lead to great achievements. She also lauded the Mock Parliament participation, encouraged meditation for inner strength, and motivated students to stay connected to positivity and purpose.
Major Achievements
DMA Triumphs in the 9th Inter-School Surevin Cricket Cup 2025
Our cricket team clinched the championship with a stunning 136-run victory, led by Shaurya (XI-L), Man of the Match. The squad displayed unmatched teamwork, strategy, and skill, bringing glory to DMA.
From DMA to the Indian Navy
Alumna Jigya Sharma (Batch of 2024) earned a place at the Indian Naval Academy through the prestigious 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme, a proud milestone for the school.
CBSE Cricket Cluster – North Zone I
DMA’s Senior Wing secured 8 medals (3 Gold, 1 Silver, 4 Bronze). Shaurya Singh, Amogh Sirohi, and Viraj Dahiya were selected for the North Zone National Team.
Events & Celebrations
International Yoga Day – “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”
Organised with The Times of India, sessions were led by expert trainers, focusing on yoga as a way of life. Students from the Primary Wing also participated enthusiastically, both on campus and online.
Bagless Day
The Primary Wing spent a vibrant day exploring activities such as dance, music, art, yoga, skating, cricket, football, and badminton — learning beyond textbooks.
Vigilance Week (14th–30th July)
A series of interactive sessions, slogan-writing, poster-making, traffic safety awareness, art-integrated learning, and a Mock Parliament nurtured civic awareness and critical thinking.
Operation SINDOOR Assembly
Colonel Dinesh Fogat and Captain Lalchhanhima inspired students with stories of unity, vigilance, and national service. Patriotic performances and poems paid tribute to the armed forces.
Cleanliness Week
Grades 1–6 participated in theme-based cleanliness activities, including awareness walks, craft from recycled materials, and community clean-up drives.
Academic & Co-Curricular Excellence

Empowering Educators – Extra Marks Teacher Training equipped Primary Wing teachers with cutting-edge digital teaching tools.

Farewell
DMA bid an emotional farewell to Ms. Urmila, Sanskrit teacher since 1988, honouring her decades of dedication and love for teaching.
