Principal’s Heart-to-Heart Message
Dr. (Mrs.) Ritu Dewan, Principal of Dayawati Modi Academy, reminds students that examinations are more than rote recall—they demand analysis, evaluation, and real-world connections. Emphasizing core values such as integrity, perseverance, and a growth mindset, she encourages breaking long-term goals into achievable steps and learning from failures as stepping stones to success. 1. Basant Panchami Celebrations (1 February 2025)
Secondary Wing Highlights:
Lamp Lighting & Invocation: Ceremony opened with lighting of the lamp to honor Goddess Saraswati.
Capacity Building Guest Speakers: Insights from Mr. Madan Sahni and Ms. Alka Sharma (CBSE resource persons).
Student Performances:
Devotional song by Classes VII–VIII
Thought on wisdom by Amika (VIII-B)
Speech on festival significance by Avika Vishwakarma (VIII-B)
Creative “Do’s & Don’ts” segment by Anika Rana (VII-B)
Poetic recitation by Avni (VII-A)
Vibrant dance performance depicting spring’s energy .
Primary Wing Highlights:
Bright yellow décor with kites and marigolds set a festive tone.
Saraswati Vandana led by Patel House assembly.
Poems, speeches, songs, dances, plus classroom quizzes, poster-making, and kite-making activities reinforced cultural learning.
2. Human Fraternity Day Assembly (4 February 2025)
Inspirational Thoughts: Navya (VII-F) and Akshita (VIII-D) spoke on peace, harmony, and global unity.
Poetic Tribute: Manasvi (VIII-C) recited a heartfelt poem promoting interfaith dialogue.
Patriotic Dance: Concluded the assembly on a high-spirited note.
Core Values Address: Ms. Nirmala highlighted respect for diversity and rejection of hatred, followed by Principal’s call to be ambassadors of universal brotherhood.
3. Inter-School Art Competition Success (8 February 2025)

4. Adventure Camp (Primary Wing, 8 February 2025)
“Learning, growing, and embracing adventure!”
Activities included Commando Net, Burma Bridge, Zip-lining, Zorb Roller, Laser Beam Trampoline, and more—designed to build confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a fun, outdoor setting .
5. ‘Nurturing Little Flowers’ Workshop (10 February 2025)
Workshop on Storytelling & Self-Discovery
Keynote by Mr. Vikrant Bahree (Burlington English): Storytelling as a pedagogical tool.
Teaching Methodologies: Phototropism, appreciative inquiry for educators.
Interactive Student Sessions: Personality trait analysis and language enrichment, sparking self-awareness and creative expression.
6. Annual Athletic Meet (14 February 2025)
“Strength, spirit, and sportsmanship—where champions rise!”
Events: Taekwondo, Bhangra, Skating, Yoga, Dumbbell Drills, Parachute Activities, and sprints (100m & 200m) for SKG–Class VI.
Special Displays: Mass PT, Aerobics, poem recital by special children.
Awards Ceremony: Medals and certificates awarded, celebrating teamwork and physical excellence .
7. Blessing Ceremony (Primary Wing, 15 February 2025)
Bidding farewell to the outgoing Class VI batch with prayers, fusion dance performances, student reflections, and heartfelt thank-you speeches—marking a memorable milestone in their academic journey.
