1. Tournament Context

Instituted in memory of Smt. Anguri Devi, this annual showcase has, over six editions, become one of Delhi NCR’s premier under‑19 school cricket tournaments. Its mission: to unearth emerging talent, foster sportsmanship, and strengthen inter‑school camaraderie.

2. Format & Venues

• Participants: 16 top Delhi NCR schools (drawn into two pools).
• Pools:
  • Pool A (7 teams):
    1. Aster Public School GR. N
    2. JBM Global School
    3. Manav Rachna School
    4. Greater Noida World School
    5. Modern School Vasant Kunj
    6. Ryan International School
    7. Aster Public School N Ext.
  • Pool B (7 teams):
    1. Modern School Barakhamba Road
    2. Gaur International School
    3. Aster Public School K P‑V
    4. Surevin International School
    5. Bal Bharti School Noida
    6. DMA Meerut
    7. BBC Sikandarabad
• Venues:
  • Young Star Cricket Ground (Manav Rachna / DMA Meerut fixtures)
  • Aster Cricket Ground (Pool A matches)
  • LSG Ground (Pool B matches)

Each team faced every other in its pool in 20‑over contests; the top two from each pool advanced to the semifinals.

Pool A

• Aster Public School GR. N stormed through with six wins out of six, posting the tournament’s highest team total (189/4 vs. Modern School Vasant Kunj).
• JBM Global School secured the runner‑up spot, thanks to a last‑over thriller beating Ryan International School.

Pool B

• DMA Meerut opened with a clinical 8‑wicket victory over BBC Sikandarabad and never looked back, finishing unbeaten.
• Modern School Barakhamba Road claimed second place after edging Bal Bharti Noida by 15 runs in a low‑scoring clash.

• Date & Venue: April 22 | Aster Cricket Ground
• Toss: Aster PS elected to bat, posting 156/7 in 20 overs.
• Chase: DMA reached 157/9 on the final ball.

Key Moments:

• Aster’s opener laid a 50‑run foundation before tight DMA spin from Daksh Chaudhary halted the flow.
• In reply, Priyanshu Motla’s imperious 97 off 55 balls kept DMA within striking distance.
• With two needed off the last over, Priyanshu’s boundary off the penultimate delivery sealed a 1‑run triumph.

• Man of the Match (Final): Priyanshu Motla (XII‑G) — 97 runs off 55 balls.
• Man of the Series & MVP: Daksh Chaudhary (XII‑L) — led the bowling charts with 12 wickets and contributed vital middle‑order runs.
• Best Wicketkeeper: Kumar Rishab (XII‑L) — 8 catches & 6 stumpings across 7 matches.
• Best Coach: Amardeep Sharma (DMA) — strategic mastermind behind DMA’s unbeaten run.
