44th Annual Day Celebration:
The highlight of the month was the 44th Annual Day, celebrated on December 13, 2024, with grandeur. Over 600 students showcased their talents through mesmerizing cultural performances, including dance, drama, and music. Distinguished guests, including VSM Major General Deep Ahlawat and other notable dignitaries, graced the occasion. The event featured an invocation dance, a thought-provoking environmental message, and the grand ballet “Yug Pravah,” tracing the flow of time across epochs. The award ceremony honored 224 students for their academic and co-curricular excellence, with prestigious trophies like the Maaji Dayawati Modi Gold Cup and the Principal Gold Cup being awarded. The event concluded with a grand finale and a heartfelt vote of thanks.
Sports Achievements:
DMA’s Cricket Team clinched the Championship Trophy at the 8th Interschool Surevin Cricket Cup 2024, with individual players receiving accolades for their exceptional performances. Additionally, the academy’s Jujutsu-Ka stars excelled at the UP State Ju-Jitsu Championship, winning 13 Gold, 7 Silver, and 4 Bronze medals, showcasing their dedication and skill.
Meerut Mahotsav:
DMA made a remarkable impact at the Meerut Mahotsav, a five-day cultural extravaganza. Students participated in vibrant stage performances, eco-awareness campaigns, and creative stalls, earning admiration and accolades. The DMA Cricket Team also won the T20 Cricket League, securing a cash prize of one lakh rupees. The Creative Corner, featuring handmade sustainable crafts, was a major attraction.
Christmas Celebrations:
The festive spirit of Christmas was celebrated with enthusiasm across the academy. A special assembly organized by Tagore House included soulful prayers, inspiring speeches, captivating skits, and vibrant dance performances, emphasizing values of love, unity, and kindness. The primary wing engaged in creative Christmas crafts, spreading joy and togetherness.
