Get ready for an exciting and impactful week at our school! From July 14th to 18th, we are thrilled to host two parallel events for our students in Grades 1 to 6: Cleanliness Week and Vigilance Week.
This special week is dedicated to fostering essential life skills. We will join hands to understand the importance of keeping our surroundings clean, green, and healthy, while also learning to be alert, honest, and responsible citizens.
Here is the schedule of activities planned for each grade:
🧼 Cleanliness Week: Let’s Be Cleanliness Champions! 🌿
This event focuses on personal hygiene and environmental responsibility.
- Grade 1 (Monday, 14th July): Clean Hands, Healthy Me
- Students will enjoy a handwashing session with a fun song, colour pictures of clean habits, and listen to a story on hygiene.
- Grade 2 (Tuesday, 15th July): Keeping My Surroundings Clean
- Activities include a desk-cleaning drive, a waste sorting game (wet/dry), and drawing their “My Clean Classroom.”
- Grade 3 (Wednesday, 16th July): Cleanliness Begins at Home
- Students will create a personal hygiene routine chart, watch and discuss videos on cleanliness, and complete a home cleaning checklist with their families.
- Grade 4 (Thursday, 17th July): Community Clean-Up
- A “Cleanliness Hero” dress-up day, a supervised school campus cleaning activity, and a poster-making session on keeping the community clean.
- Grade 5 & 6 (Friday, 18th July): Waste Not, Want Not
- Activities include a craft session using recycled materials, an awareness walk with cleanliness slogans, and a group discussion on why cleanliness matters.
🚦 Vigilance Week: Be Alert, Honest & Responsible! 🌟
This event is designed to instill core values of integrity, safety, and fairness.
- Grade 6 (Monday, 14th July): Standing Up for What’s Right
- A session involving watching and reflecting on a short film about honesty and making the right choices.
- Grade 5 (Tuesday, 15th July): Values That Matter
- A creative slogan-writing activity focusing on integrity, truth, and fairness.
- Grade 4 (Wednesday, 16th July): Be Alert, Be Smart
- A poster-making competition with the theme “Say No to Cheating!”
- Grade 3 (Thursday, 17th July): I Am a Responsible Citizen
- Students will proudly create a “Good Deed Certificate” for themselves to celebrate their positive actions.
- Grade 2 (Thursday, 17th July): I Follow the Rules
- An interactive session with a Traffic Rules Game, a “Traffic Safety Pledge,” and a drawing activity on crossing the road safely.
- Grade 1 (Friday, 18th July): Safe & Honest Me
- A fun introduction to traffic signals and zebra crossings, complemented by a hands-on traffic light craft activity.
