CBSE COE Capacity Building Programme on Learning Outcomes and Pedagogies
On 17th September 2025, Dayawati Modi Academy organized a Capacity Building Programme by CBSE Centre of Excellence, Noida, on the theme “Learning Outcomes and Pedagogies.” The workshop was held in the school library and commenced with the traditional invocation followed by a graceful cultural presentation.
The event was graced by Mrs. Suman Singh (Director/Principal, Radicon School, Ghaziabad) and Mrs. Komal Tomar, who were welcomed by the school’s Director & Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Ritu Diwan, with floral greetings.
The capacity building workshop focused on enhancing teaching pedagogies and improving student learning outcomes. Special emphasis was placed on Bloom’s Taxonomy across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. Teachers were introduced to student-centered teaching methods, competency-based education, and effective assessment strategies that align with 21st-century learning skills.
Speakers highlighted that Learning Outcomes are the true measure of education quality. Beyond textbooks, education must foster critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities in students. Such approaches prepare learners to meet the challenges of the modern world with confidence.
Concluding the programme, Dr. (Mrs.) Ritu Diwan emphasized that the real purpose of education is not just to impart knowledge, but also to nurture life skills, values, and individuality. She encouraged the adoption of innovative teaching pedagogies that help each child discover their potential and face the future with self-belief.
The workshop proved to be a highly insightful and inspiring experience for all participants. The successful organization of the event was made possible by the dedicated efforts of Vice Principal Mr. Vivek Singh Yadav, Mrs. Shashi Dhaka, and Mrs. Anita Dogra.
