Innoverse 2.0: The Day Young Minds Lit Up DMA
18 challenges, countless ideas and one dazzling universe of young talent at Dayawati Modi Academy.
On Saturday, 31 October 2026, Dayawati Modi Academy in Modipuram, Meerut, stopped being just a school and became a launchpad. Classrooms turned into laboratories, corridors into galleries and stages into studios. Students from schools across the city showed what happens when curiosity is given room to run. This was Innoverse 2.0, and the future arrived a little early.
A day built around ideas
Innoverse 2.0 was a school festival with a scientist’s curiosity and an artist’s heart. Built around the theme of Innovation and Learning, it gave students a stage to show their scientific thinking, creativity, technical skill and the spirit of invention.
A lamp lit, a festival begins
Every great journey needs a spark, and Innoverse 2.0 began with a flame. Chief Guest Dr. (Mrs.) Poonam Devdutt, Director of Psychology and Human Behaviour at Shobhit University, lit the ceremonial lamp together with our School Director Dr. (Mrs.) Ritu Dewan, Principal Dr. Suraj Sharma and other distinguished guests.
The Saraswati Vandana and the chanting of shlokas followed, blessing the day with knowledge and grace. Then our students took over. A melodious group song and a mesmerising Aahvan (invocation) dance filled the hall with devotion and joy, and the celebration was officially under way.

Guests who inspired the room
Innoverse 2.0 was graced by people who turn knowledge into impact, from classrooms and kitchens to cybersecurity and robotics. Their presence reminded our students that big dreams have real addresses.

Eighteen challenges, one universe
Why choose one talent when you can show them all? Innoverse 2.0 opened eighteen doors, and students walked through every one of them, spanning technology, science, creativity, performing arts and pure innovation.
Among the headline events:
GameVerse is where PS5 and PC gaming sent the excitement soaring. Across these stages, students coded, experimented, built models, delivered technical presentations, framed photographs, painted with AI and created, each in their own way. They also learned to collaborate, think logically, solve problems and turn a new idea into something real.

The STEAM Innovation League
This year’s special highlight was the regional round of SIL 2.0 (STEAM Innovation League), hosted in collaboration with STEMROBO Technologies. Students from Classes 7 to 12, representing different schools, pitched their original projects in artificial intelligence, robotics, coding and sustainability.
The Live Labs, Innoviz and Sciverse competitions were also evaluated for the STEAM Innovation League, so the projects on those stages were assessed for the league as well.

Words that lit the way
Imagination, made real.
Chief Guest Dr. (Mrs.) Poonam Devdutt and School Director Dr. (Mrs.) Ritu Dewan spoke about the role of innovation and hands-on learning in a child’s all-round growth. Events like Innoverse, they said, give students the chance to turn imagination into reality, to experiment boldly and to get ready for the challenges of tomorrow.
Curiosity first.
Principal Dr. Suraj Sharma reminded everyone that curiosity, a scientific outlook and a lifelong love of learning are the foundations of innovation. He urged students to move ahead with fresh ideas, learn from every experiment and give their creativity a practical shape. Education, he said, is about more than gathering knowledge. It is about building problem-solving ability, confidence, teamwork and the skill to adapt to a changing world.
He also praised the energy, effort and creativity of every participant, and wished them a bright and successful future.

And the champions are…
After the results were announced, winners received prizes and certificates, and the judges applauded the originality, scientific thinking and presentation skills on display. Congratulations to every winner, and to every participant who dared to try.

Curtain call
Every good festival ends with a flourish. Our students closed the day with a vibrant dance performance that sent the energy in the hall one notch higher. Then came words of thanks to the participants, the guests and the organisers, and the programme concluded with the national anthem.
We were delighted to have Vice Principal Mr. Vivek Singh Yadav, Headmistress Mrs. Shashi Dhaka, our teachers and other respected guests with us. It was their support and guidance that made Innoverse 2.0 a success.

The experiments are packed away and the prizes have gone home, but the ideas are still glowing. Until curiosity takes the stage again, keep imagining.
