FIRST EVER DMA ALUMNI MEET – 2016

To take a walk down the corridors of nostalgia, the First Ever Alumni Meet of Dayawati Modi Academy was organised on the evening of 24th December 2016. The occasion was graced by more than 250 Alumni and their family members ranging across various batches from various parts of the country and outside the country as well. The meet started traditionally with the lighting of lamp followed by a captivating dance performance in humble supplication to Lord Ganesh by the Head Boy Ravi Yadav. A cake cutting ceremony celebrated the golden moments of life, symbolising the sharing of sweet joys and happiness. The Alumni were given a warm & hearty reception.

A beautiful logo symbolising the pride and spirit of the Alumni Association of the Academy was also unveiled. The gathering also enjoyed a variety of games, tongue twisters and a lucky draw. The evening was enlivened by an ecstatic and mesmerising musical and dance presentation by the Mantra 7 Event Management group.

Speaking on the occasion, the Principal underlined and praised the achievements of Alumni of DMA in all walks/spheres of life. She said that Alumni are the brand ambassadors of the academy and a very vibrant relationship must be established and nurtured. She felt that it was matter of great pride for the academy that its Alumni are holding positions of responsibility in various Government organizations, PSUs, Private sector, Academic Institutions. Many of them are successful entrepreneurs providing jobs to others as well. She praised their contribution towards the growth of their Alma Mater and emphasized the need for further strengthening the linkage between the Alumni, academy and current students.

Good morning Ma’am,

It was real pleasure n delight to enter those premises again after 23 long years. The entire credit goes to u n ur team who worked relentlessly to make it a grand success. The way we were received n greeted is beyond words to describe. Affection in the eyes of teachers (including u) who had taught us was just to be observed n words shall be short to describe it. The school started in 1981 n it has taken a journey of more than 35 yrs. I was one of the first to take admission in the school.

It was great to be part of the Alumni event on 24.12.16, that gave us the chance to visit our esteemed institution once again, that I have been a part of, throughout my initial Academic education (1983 – 1997) from Nursery till Class XII. Thanks to the ethics and values hat DMA has inculcated in its students, its legion of Alumni are doing very well today in various sectors : Teaching, Business, Management, IT, Medicine, Law etc..

A sincere advise to students would be to pursue their goals & interests with utmost dedication. This period forms the foundation for the rest of our lives, so make the best of it. DMA Alumni Reunion Dec 24, 2016 was Amazingly Awesome, Mesmerizingly Nostalgic, Heart-Melting with Infectious Smile, Contagious Joy & full of Live Interaction, Chatting, Mimicry, Games, Music, Dance, Dinner etc. Moreover, Guyz were looking Super-Dudes & Galz Stunning-Divas in the gala celebration.
