A Grand Reunion of Memories and Joy

Dayavati Modi Academy, Modipur hosted a spectacular Alumni Meet on Saturday, January 25, 2025. The event was celebrated with great enthusiasm, joy, and grandeur, bringing together graduates from batches 1999 to 2020 under one roof. The occasion revived cherished memories as former students reconnected with their alma mater.

Warm Welcome & Festivities

Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ritu Diwan, along with the three wing coordinators—Mrs. Shashi Dhaka, Mr. R.S. Upadhyay, Mrs. Latika Gupta, and Mr. K.D. Kaushik—warmly welcomed the alumni with flower bouquets. The school organized numerous entertaining activities including:

  • Volleyball matches
  • Tug of war competitions
  • Races
  • Dance performances
  • Singing competitions

The alumni particularly enjoyed dancing to the melodious tunes played by the DJ. It was a moment of pride to see these former students who are now making significant contributions in various fields including science, arts, music, sports, literature, cinema, politics, and social service across the country and globally.

Nostalgic Memories

The former students shared heartfelt memories of their childhood spent at the school, recalling classroom mischief, teachers’ affectionate guidance, and the warmth of the environment. Many became emotional while reminiscing these precious moments, acknowledging that their current success is largely attributed to the foundation laid by the school. All expressed immense pride in being DMA alumni and were delighted to see the school’s new and improved facilities.

Campus Tour & Evening Celebrations

Following the sports activities, the alumni were treated to music and dance performances in the school premises. They were also given a comprehensive tour of the campus, showcasing the digital classrooms, library, playgrounds, and lush green gardens. The evening was made special with colorful lighting arrangements, delicious dinner, and a memorable cake-cutting ceremony.

Closing Remarks

During the closing ceremony, Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ritu Diwan expressed her gratitude to all visiting alumni and teachers. She conveyed her best wishes for their bright futures and good health. In her address, she mentioned how fortunate the school was to have alumni who now hold prestigious positions in various fields worldwide. She made a special request for them to maintain their sweet relationship with the school in the future.

All teachers of the school were present at the event, which concluded with a sumptuous dinner arrangement.
