A School is on a never ending journey. It is a continuous process of constant improvement, renewal and progress. So building a school is a never ending assignment, it not only includes infrastructure but it also involves building of trust, ethos teamwork. These are some of the things Dr. Dewan focuses on which help to write and connect the people staff, students and parents. She is assiduously working to build the identity, forging a set of values, norms and a way of life which is intangible. Her focus is to reach each and every child who enters the folds of DMA and touch his life meaningfully in order to make him unleash his potential and nurture it.
Dr. Dewan’s style of administration is unique as she is a catalyst who maximises efficiency and is always alive towards the organizational goals. She initiates her action by communicating the policies and plans to all team members from where the work actually starts. She is a great motivator and encourages employees with economic and non-economic appreciation & rewards. She not only supervises effectively but also plays a guiding role for the team. The team is effective and efficient due to her supportive role and incisive result oriented approach. She is extremely empathetic and a great listener as she creates as environment of trust, listening to the staff’s articulate and inarticulate concerns and creates an amazing family environment wherein each member is valued.
She stands by her colleagues when they need her both in good and challenging times and does all that is within her means to help & support. Her giving nature reflects her immense love which is visible in all her gestures and deeds.
Her selfless dedication towards co-ordinating the people towards a common purpose accomplishes large organizational goals. This can be done because she is able to influence and get willing co-operation and urge to accomplish objectives. Her positivity, intelligence, experience and integrity inspire others and thus she solicits full support of her team which results in willingness to work and thereby effectiveness in running of the school.
As a friend she shares the feelings, aspirations and opinion of employees, as a philosopher she guides the employees as a light house & stands strong as a role model with discipline, integrity and larger good as her core values and as a mentor her problem solving approach resolves most of the issues within no time.

Most of all we love her for her love for each and every member including all her students. She forges a personal bond with them and an amazing trust is seen in the attitudes of students. Apart from the above it is worth mentioning here that she has a bigger, higher purpose for the organization that expresses responsiveness to the community. She believes is sustainable practices and social contribution. She has started initiatives like ‘DMA Cares’ ‘Project Empathy’ and is also working closely with rural schools providing opportunities and facilities to the students. The community outreach programmes reach out to old age homes, orphanages and slums and her new initiative to appreciate inclusivity is another dedicated milestone.
Her active role in policy making, planning and implementation helps ensure that resources are used effectively, capitalising on the comparative advantage of every stakeholder group and sharing resources, technology and knowledge. She has a supremely ambitions & transformational mission. She envisages a world with universal literacy, quality education at all levels, health care and social protection, where physical, mental & social well being are assured.
